It really is amazing how some deodorants just do not work good for me. My favorite kind of deodorant is Secret Platinum but they usually want $3.50 or more for a bottle of it. I have to use a gel or a soft solid because the regular solids just do not do the job in my opinion. It must be nice when people can go out and buy that dollar stick of deodorant and just have it work out for them!
If you are a female business owner or freelancer, do you have a MySpace page? Do you think it actually drives customers to your business? I’ve seen many people do it, but am not sure about the benefits. Also, do you maintain a personal blog - and does that have any impact on your business? How do you spread the word about what you do? You should leave me a comment and tell me what you do!
Expect your cable bill to go up sometime soon. The FCC has mandated newer, more expensive set-top boxes, and the cable companies aren’t going to just absorb the cost, they’re going to pass them on to their customers. We have satellite, actually, but I still can’t stand the fact that we pay a set amount each month for over 100 channels, but only watch around 20 of them.
The other night while I was out at a party at a friend of mine’s house they had this stuff called UV vodka but it was blue and it was some kind of raspberry flavor. They were mixing it with pink lemonade and handing me drink after drink. This is one of those kinds of drinks that you can really hurt yourself on because you do not realize how much you are drinking until it is too late, which is exactly what I did! It was a fun night though, and I found a new favorite drink.
Okay, I just read an article where men were complaining that women get away with dressing much more casually than men do in the work place. What do you think? Of course, women don’t wear suits and ties, but most women dress professionally, in my experience. There is of course, the occasional office floozy who uses her low-cut blouses to distract people from the fact that she doesn’t do anything.
