Pokemon

Sure the kids love Pokemon, but have you ever tried it? I can see how it would get addicting to find all the little cute pets that are available through the game, but you have to look pretty hard for them. I think it is hilarious when the kids are better than me at video games, I was great at Super Mario Brothers back in the day, but no one cares about that anymore! I would like a job as a video game tester so that I can make them easier for old people like me, and I can call it like ‘the game for old people who were good at super mario” and it will only require two buttons to play!

Toilet Paper

I hate that it is so expensive to wipe your butt. You would think that something that is meant to be extra disposable would be cheap, but in reality it is not unless you buy the crap that decides to stick to your body when you use it. I get angry because the roommates here use our toilet paper all the time and do not see the merit in replacing any, and if they did it would probably be the extra cheap stuff that still has visible sticks and leaves in it. That is the short of the long rant that I had in mind, I just hate how much it costs to wipe.

Does your home need a programable thermostat to save you money?

Well, the answer is yes it will. Many people believe that keeping your house at a constant temperature saves money when in fact it don’t. When you lower your temperature 5 to 10 degrees at night or when no one is home it can save you up to 20 percent on your annual heating bill. But do watch which programmable thermostat you get and make sure its not to confusing.

Wal-Mart to sell only concentrated Laundry detergent.

Wednesday, Wal-Mart Stores Inc. said that it will only sell concentrated liquid laundry detergent in the U.S. The worlds biggest retailer says this will save 400 million gallons of water, 95 million pounds of plastic and 125 million pounds of cardboard. By doing this the company will also cut fuel cost due to less weight. This will also make a difference in the amount of garbage going into land fills.

To keep or not to keep open credit cards without a balance.

Regardless what many people might think it is actually good to keep credit cards without a balance open. Closing the account out could actually hurt your credit score. If there is an annual fee and you are definitely not using the card then by all means do close the account. If your account is an old account then do keep it open. Older accounts actually give you a better score.

Time To Shop

Well Christmas is coming and it is time to start shopping for Christmas gifts. Buying for the kids is never easy so we start a month or two early. I hate waiting until december to do my shopping, it is annoying trying to fight the crowds. I buy almost everything before thanksgiving but on on black friday i like to go out, it has just become a tradition for me and my family.
